hostal san martin is located right off gran via, so the location couldn't be better. the staff were super friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. the room had a comfy double bed and a nice en-suite shower, which was a great surprise. the price was also very reasonable for the quality.

During my stay, I found the room quite small and lacking air conditioning, making it uncomfortable during the warm nights. The noise from the busy streets was disruptive, affecting my ability to rest properly. I also encountered some difficulties figuring out the entry procedure upon my late arrival, as the buzzer wasn't very clear.

We had a comfortable stay in a clean room, and the kids loved that the Gran Via was just a stone's throw away. The staff was friendly, and we found a neat little bar nearby that served great sandwiches, perfect for our large family.

In my wife’s opinion, some areas could use a more family-friendly setup.
